The mission of the Council is to promote, coordinate and facilitate planning and development of literacy services in Culpeper County, Virginia to anyone age 18 years or older.

The Culpeper Literacy Council is a non-profit organization offering programs in Basic Literacy, ESOL and ESOL Civics, and GED.
 
These programs are free of charge and are open to residents of Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock counties. Our staff consists of an Executive Director, Administrative Assistant, Adult Education Coordinator, ESOL instructors, and GED instructor. Our tutors number nearly 50 dedicated volunteers from the greater Culpeper community.

The CLC is located at the intersection of Main and Scanlon streets in Culpeper, VA. We are on the second floor with access via a staircase in the rear of the building.
